It is my pleasure to announce that Tony James, Professor of Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, has been awarded the inaugural Nao-Yao Su Award for Innovative and Creativity in Entomology. This brand new award, administered by the
Entomological Society of America, was created from a $250,000 endowment from Dr. Nan-Yao Su to honor entomologists who are able to identify problems and develop creative, alternative solutions that significantly impact entomology.
