The Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program offers first-year coursework and research opportunities across a broad spectrum from molecular neurobiology through cognitive neurosciences. Students have the opportunity to train with any faculty members of a participating department.

The Cellular and Molecular Biosciences (CMB) Program offeres a flexible series of core courses during the first year in Molecules of Life, Cells and Signals, and Integrative Systems & Generatics. The CMB Program provides opportunities for research rotations with more than 130 faculty members participating in the program.

The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior has a unified goal to understand how the brain produces behavior athat adapts to a changing environment. Graduate training gives students a broad foundation in neurosciences with technical proficiency in areas of interest.
