On March 26, 2003, the School of Biological Sciences dedicated
Science Lecture Hall as Schneiderman Lecture Hall in honor of
Dr. Howard A. Schneiderman, third Dean of the School of Biological
Sciences from 1970-1979, for his legacy of distinguished contributions
to Biological Sciences and the University of California, Irvine.
Family, friends, colleagues, faculty, staff, and students attended
the ceremony and reception in Biological Sciences Plaza. The
dedication was a momentous occasion for the School and for UC
Irvine.
