Please join the Sue & Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center and the UCI Center for Diabetes Treatment and Research in welcoming Dr. Richard Burt, Associate Professor, Division of Immunotherapy at Northwestern University. Dr. Burt will talk about an experimental stem cell treatment that enabled patients with Type 1 diabetes to go up to four years without Insulin injections.
