Pre-Pharmacy Day Draws Biological Sciences School Undergraduates

PrePharmDay_155LMore than 250 undergraduate students recently attended the Biological Sciences School of Biological Sciences’ Second Annual Pre-Pharmacy Day with the Pre-Pharmacy Society student organization. More than 350 UCI students and alumni apply annually to pharmacy programs throughout the nation. UCI is within the top three schools nationally to have the most Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS) Pharmacy school applicants with an acceptance of 65 percent or greater.

Pre-Pharmacy Day featured keynote speaker Dr. Jennifer Adams, AACP Senior Director of Strategic Academic Partnerships, as well as exhibits from 16 pharmacy schools and graduate programs. PharmCAS is a centralized application service for the majority of the Pharmacy Schools in the nation, which students use to apply to multiple degree programs offered by schools and colleges of pharmacy.
