Changes in the Use of BBQ's on Campus
To Occupants of Natural Sciences 1: Sustainable and Green Campus Initiatives
I am writing to inform you that the Monitoring Based Commissioning Project for Sprague, Gillespie, and Natural Sciences 1 will be kicking off this week. We will be walking the buildings the on March 28 with our consultant EMC Engineers. Have no fear Commissioning will not affect the buildings occupants. The team from EMC will be conducting air pressure test, taking readings from various thermostats, and monitoring other building systems over the next several months. There may also be the occasional ladder with someone inspecting equipment in the ceiling. If any concerns are generated that can not be addressed with a simple explanation of who, or what is taking place please feel free to contact me at x4-9309. McGaugh and Berkeley Place showed great energy savings from the very same study and we expect similar savings on these buildings. This work is all part of the Sustainable and Green Campus initiatives.
Thanks,
Matt Gudorf
