I am delighted to announce that Sheryl Tsai of Molecular Biology and
Biochemistry received the 2006-07 Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence
in Biological Sciences. Sheryl has taught Bio 98 for three years and
has quickly adopted a highly effective and appreciated teaching style.
Her enthusiasm and passion for taking on the challenge of teaching this
large core lecture course resulted in outstanding teaching evaluations
from many of her students. Sheryl has developed a teaching style that
makes her one of the most highly thought of teachers in Bio Sci.
