The Machine Shop is a full-service technical facility equipped
to support a broad range of academic and research activities for
the various departments and administrative units within the School
of Biological Sciences. Specialists within the Shop provide:
- Electrical and mechanical repair of laboratory equipment
- Precision welding
- Metal and sheet metal work
- Wood working (for custom projects and renovations)
- Plastics fabrication
Services are available to all faculty, researchers, students and
staff in the School of Biological Sciences at the cost of $30 per
hour.
