1. Students must be in good academic standing, major and cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Non-UCI students: Can enroll through University Extension (fall, winter, spring quarters). Information at 949-824-1010, or summer session information at 824-5493.
2. Must complete and pass Bio. 194 Safety & Ethics course prior to enrollment.
Non-UCI students: Complete and pass Bio. 194 Safety & Ethics. Can enroll concurrently with Bio.199. If equivalent course has been completed, provide documentation to Susana C. Sandoval in Steinhaus Hall, 231.
3. Must complete required Bio. 199 Proposal (form at ...)
4. Professor and student must sign the Proposal.
5. Student must sign the Waiver & Release of Liability and Acknowledgment of the Assumption of Risk form.
6. Must submit signed Proposal and waiver forms to Biological Sciences Student Affairs Office, SH231. Valid for the academic year only through June 30th.
7. IMPORTANT: Students conducting research in hospital/clinical setting, or with human subjects in a non hospital/clinical setting, MUST complete additional requirements.
