UC Irvine’s NIH-BEST Program invites applications for a part-time Program Evaluator with a passion for professional development and higher education. Under the direction of the Program Director and the Associate Director, the incumbent will be responsible for developing formative and summative assessments for the new the UCI-Public Policy Program (P3). Evaluation components will include a baseline, midterm and final survey for trainees participating in the program. Other responsibilities include: conducting focus group interviews with trainees working on policy-related projects with our community partners; and working closely with the Associate Director to disseminate outcomes in the form of online summaries and a comprehensive report.

Requirements include a Masters in Public Health or Ph.D in a research discipline of biomedical science; experience with program evaluation; demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, communicate effectively, identify problems and develop solutions with supervisors, administrators, students, faculty and the community; ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction; high level of fluency in using business software applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint,); demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and security of records and documents.
