Accounts with a HSAC paid year of 2008 are set to expire in 2015.*
Accounts with a HSAC paid year of 2009 expired in 2014.
Accounts with a HSAC paid year of 2010 are set to expire in 2015.
Accounts with a HSAC paid year of 2011 are set to expire in 2016.
*2008 accounts expire 7 years from the HSAC “DATE PAID.”
All accounts created in and after 2010 will expire in 5 years from the “DATE PAID” indicated in your HSAC online account.
Once an account has expired, all letters are properly disposed and this process is irrevocable. Expiring accounts are not renewable. Please read the HSAC Phase-Out Policy for more information.

June 2, 2015 is the AMCAS open submission date for the 2016 application cycle. Please do not submit your AMCAS (or AACOMAS) request through HSAC until June 1, 2015. All requests received prior to this date will be deleted. Re-applicants, please remember to submit your updated 2016 AMCAS Letter Request Form.
For the 2016 (2015-2016) application cycle, AADSAS has confirmed they will not make any major changes to the letter submission process, therefore HSAC will continue to service pre-existing dental files for the 2016 application cycle. As a reminder we are not accepting new accounts for dental effective since summer 2013. Re-applicants, please remember to submit your updated 2016 AADSAS Matching Form.

Letters of recommendation are logged in your HSAC account the same day of arrival.
HSAC “send” requests are processed within 3-7 business days. Insufficient or incomplete requests can delay processing time. Please read “procedures” links carefully, which can be found upon logging into your HSAC account.
For all letters of recommendation inquiries, contact us at email@example.com or call 949-824-5319. Provide your contact phone number and your FILE ID (this is not your CLIENT ID) in all email inquiries. Email is the preferred method of contact. During the months of May – October, counselors are busy assisting students and processing HSAC requests. If you do not reach a counselor by phone, please send an email. We strive to address all letters of recommendation email inquiries within 1-2 business days (and no later than 3 business days during high season (May-Oct).
The majority of your questions are answered in the HSAC Policies & FAQ link or individual procedures links (AMCAS Procedures, AADSAS Procedures, etc.), available after you log in. This is an instruction link that will help you through the letters of recommendation process. Once logged in, click on the link for your specific program for detailed instructions on how to proceed and have your letters sent out.
The Waiver Form must be given to all letter writers. Use your FILE ID (not CLIENT ID).
