Celebration of the Department of Systems Biology

March 30 @ 4:00 PM 6:00 PM

Please join us for a special evening toast and celebratory gathering marking the creation of the Department of Systems Biology at the UC Irvine Charlie Dunlop School of Biological Sciences.

The establishment of this new department reflects the Dunlop School’s continued commitment to advancing innovative, interdisciplinary research. Systems biology brings together biology, mathematics, engineering and computational science to better understand complex biological systems and address some of the most pressing challenges in human health and disease.

This gathering will bring together faculty and staff to celebrate this milestone for the school and recognize the collaborative efforts that helped bring the department to life.

We are pleased that UC Irvine Provost Hal Stern will join us and share a few remarks during the celebration.
