Biological Sciences School graduate students, undergraduates and postdoctoral scientists all gathered at The Cove on May 17^th to hear about diverse career options for individuals with degrees in the life sciences.  The event, put on by the Biological Sciences Student Council (BSC), featured a panel of former Biological Sciences School and UCI alumni who hold life science careers outside of academia.  The panelist included School of Biological Sciences alumni; Stephen Bumb ‘77, Michael Shiue ’93, Anja Kammesheidt ‘89 and Paul Merage School of Business alumnus, Graham Threadgill ‘08.  In addition to learning how the panelist earned their current jobs, the attendees had the opportunity to ask other career development questions, as well as practice their networking skills.
