The 11th National UC Davis Pre-Health Student Alliance (formerly AMSA/ARC/UCD) Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Professions Conference provides community-college, university, post-bac, and high school students, parents, and counselors with the information and skills necessary to succeed in the medical and health-professions school admission process. It provides a unique opportunity for direct contact with medical school deans of admission, admission officers, financial aid officers, faculty, and staff.
This year we will host deans of admission from some of the top medical, dental, public health, pharmacy, and nursing schools across the country, as well as current students from many of these schools. We proudly present over 200 dynamic pre-med and pre-health professions workshops — a hallmark of the conference led by deans and admission directors. The speakers and events will provide you with in-depth information on issues ranging from the medical school curriculum, admission requirements, financial aid and MCAT preparation, to public policy and clinical and research opportunities.
Over 120 medical schools, 25 public health schools, 25 pharmacy schools, 35 dental schools, and 20 nursing schools are scheduled to attend this year. Moreover, representatives from over 400 programs will be present to directly answer questions during the Pre-Health Professions Fair.

AAMC pre-med services will be presenting live on Sunday, October 13, at 6p ET/5p CT/3p PT, covering everything from learning if medicine is the right career for you to preparing for the MCAT exam and the AMCAS application to resources for financing a medical education. We’ll be taking questions from Twitter during this live session, just use the hashtag #aamcpremed to join the conversation.
