Dear Pre-Health Students,

On Monday, January 14, 2019 (week 2), you are encouraged to stop by the DRASH (Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter) mobile station located at Biological Sciences Plaza between the Science Library and Steinhaus Hall.  This unique walkthrough exhibit is a rare experience. You will have the opportunity to walk through a mobile pop-up healthcare facility commonly deployed with the Army during times of war and national disasters.  The DRASH is equipped with medical equipment needed to preform urgent surgical procedures. In the DRASH countless lives have been stabilized  during the golden hour before securing safe transportation to a stationed hospital for further care.  The Army Forward Surgical Team (FST) members will be present to answer questions.

The DRASH is open to campus for visitation between the hours of 11AM and 3PM.

If you want to get a distant view of the assembly process, feel free to sit on the neighboring planters of Biological Sciences III or the steps to McGaugh Hall.

*In the event of rain the DRASH will be relocated inside Natural Sciences I in room 1114.
