The Rose Hills Foundation has contributed substantially to educational institutions in California in support of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) undergraduate development. In 2014, UCI was awarded $700,000 from The Rose Hills Foundation to support the career development of it’s STEM students. Exceptional students are chosen for one year appointments from the various Schools at UCI. There were six Biological Sciences School recipients selected for Rose Hills Foundation Undergraduate Science & Engineering Scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year. We would like to congratulate our outstanding Biological Sciences School undergraduates: Ryan Ripperdan, Nujhat Ali, Mary Sargious, Richelle Homo, Mikayla Mager, and Karen Bradshaw.
